Meet Cohen

Owner & carpenter

Cohen Balnaves sitting on the Balnaves tool trailer

Born and bred in Bendigo. Back home and building.

I'm Cohen, the owner and carpenter behind Balnaves Building & Carpentry.

Born and bred in Bendigo, I completed my trade here before moving to the Gold Coast, where I spent nearly 6 years working on high-end residential projects before making the move back home to start something of my own.

10+years in the building industry

~6years on high-end Gold Coast homes

Localborn, bred and trade-trained in Bendigo

With over 10 years in the building industry and a passion for quality craftsmanship, I've worked across all aspects of carpentry, from new builds, renovations and bathrooms to decks, landscaping, fit-outs, framing and detailed hardwood work.

For me, it's about more than just getting the job done. I take pride in doing things properly, paying attention to the details and creating work that I'm genuinely proud to put my name on.

Now I'm looking forward to building something of my own right here in Bendigo and surrounds, while continuing to take on projects that challenge me and let me show what I love doing.
